Indeed, many older Amateur Radio webs are gearing up to copy the look, feel, and style of our Product Reviews. Thanks for your many email messages and generous comments.

The Ham Radio Market is an Internet web board focused on equipment and "Ham Radio Stuff". It is operated as a public service for the Ham Radio community by the Wireless Industry Association. At the Wireless Industry Association we don't buy or sell anything, we bring together those that do. The purpose is evident in the name and to any browser after spending a few minutes at the Market.

Each ad or message is related to Ham Radio Market purposes. This focused web board is for the exclusive use of Hams, Ham Radio Dealers, Ham wanta-a-bees, collectors, distributors, brokers and others to seek, find, buy and sell Ham Radio products, equipment and "Ham Radio Stuff". We encourage all in the Ham Radio community, including Ham Equipment Dealers, Distributors and their employees, to post ads and messages about promos, specials, new and used items with detail, prices and URLs to their facility or web pages.

Not permitted: personal ads or messages, chat, forum activities, broadcasting or similar activities. Responses to any ad or message can be communicated direct to those posting the ad or message. Posting of news, announcements, reactions, responses or comments to ads or messages is not permitted. Ham Radio Market is not a forum. It's seek, find, buy and sell Ham Radio stuff.

We don't want any rules. We don't want any policy. We want everything to run smooooooth. However, a few rules are necessary to keep things smoooooth.

Agreement

By posting an ad or message here at the Ham Radio Market (HRM) you have accepted our policy and rules as amended from time to time, and you agree to adhere strictly to the policy and rules.

You agree:

That your ads or messages can be deleted if they violate the policy or rules or the spirit of the policy or rules at the discretion of the Ham Radio Market; you are solely responsible for the content of your posted ads or messages and you will conduct your use of the Market in a professional and business like manner in keeping with the best Ham Radio community expectations.

That you will use the Market only for its intended, defined and apparent purpose and you acknowledge that HRM is not a principal or partner in your business and does not receive compensation or participate in any way in your business activities, buying or selling decisions, personal activities or any other activities; and you absolve, release, and hold HRM harmless from any and all losses, disputes, disagreements, under-achievement of desired or expected performance or other disappointments.

Each ad or message must have some minimum information: See "How To Post."

In the SUBJECT: or TITLE: field: A description of the item, product being offered or sought or the purpose of the message. State if NEW, NIB, etc., otherwise it is considered used equipment. Use upper case for Subject: Vague or non-descriptions such as "Best Deal In Town", "Lowest Prices On The Planet", "URGENT!, URGENT!, URGENT!" OR "Click Here" are not permitted.

In The FROM: field: Your information is pre-entered but you can change it.

In the EMAIL: field: Your information is pre-entered but you can change it.

In the PHONE: field: Your information is pre-entered but you can change it.

In the MESSAGE: field: An ad or message, description of subject or items seeking, buying or selling. Hyperlinks and picture URLs are encouraged. Use upper and lower case. Use two Returns for paragraphs or to left justify information. See:> "How To Post.

Duplicate ads or messages are not permitted. One ad per subject. Click the submit button just once.

Purpose and Spirit. The Ham Radio Market is continuously monitored. We periodically audit ads and messages through phone or email contact.

DBAs and Aliases. Use the real information, company or personal.

We delete ads or messages that don't adhere to our few rules or the purposes or spirit of the Market. The Market is not a forum or broadcast system. Users that violate the rules or the spirit of the rules and purposes can loose their Ham Radio Market privileges.
